As part of Concepcio’s giveaway, one lucky industry professional had the opportunity to attend the exclusive Villeroy & Boch Innovation Days – ISH 2025 event, where they experienced the latest sanitary trends, technologies, and design concepts up close. The professional pass was won by the representative of Simplace Interior Design and Home Staging Studio — an experienced interior designer. We spoke with her about her profession, sources of inspiration, the significance of the event, and Concepcio’s role in future collaborations.

Expertise, passion and inspiration

We’ve been working in interior design, property renovation, home staging, and real estate sales for over 10 years. Together with Panni, I run Simplace, a company whose mission is to support our clients throughout the entire real estate journey from A to Z. All it takes is for someone to tell us their goal — we take the project into our hands, carry out the work, and hand it back finished, turnkey — whether it’s for sale, investment, or creating a home.

In this profession, trustworthiness is absolutely key, especially when someone is building their home and wants to work with a professional they feel comfortable with and can fully rely on. It’s essential that an interior designer not only listens but also truly understands the client’s goals and desires — and can help make them a reality. Creating a family home is not a quick, simple project, but a longer and more complex process, during which the designer and the client work closely together. In these cases, the ideal partner is someone with whom the collaboration is not only effective but also harmonious on a personal level.

The same applies to investors: they look for professionals who are on the same wavelength, share the same ethical foundations, and understand what truly matters — time and money. It’s crucial to work with a partner who is aware of current market trends and can create a product that is marketable, efficiently sellable, and meets buyer expectations. The most profitable projects are those where we know exactly what the market demands — and deliver just that. This requires up-to-date professional knowledge and a strong sense of the market.

Recently, home staging — the process of preparing a property for sale — has gained increasing importance. Anyone active on the real estate market knows how crucial it is for a property to make the right impression from the very first moment. Potential buyers need to see not a problem, but a solution — a home they can move into right away. This significantly increases the chances of a successful sale.

Sometimes a client comes to us with a clear goal, but often they don’t fully know what they want yet. In those cases, we help clarify the objectives together, define the time and financial framework, and make the most of it. We’ve had clients who initially wanted to create a home but decided to sell in the end — and also the other way around: investors who loved the result so much that they chose to move in themselves.

What do you expect from events like this from a professional point of view?

What I look forward to most at events like this is the opportunity to discover innovations first-hand — to see what new products and solutions have entered the market and what I can recommend to my clients in the future. Having up-to-date information like this is extremely valuable in our daily work.

In this profession, continuous learning and development are essential. It’s crucial to stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and technologies every single day — this is the only way we can truly offer the best to our clients. These events are not only inspiring but also professionally essential, as they provide opportunities to grow, stay informed, and work with the most current knowledge.

How did you hear about Concepcio’s giveaway, and what was your experience like? 

I was thrilled when I found out that I was the one selected to take part in this special event. It was a private, small-scale gathering, not open to everyone — which made the opportunity to participate especially meaningful and an honor. I was glad I could make time amid my daily responsibilities to focus on learning and professional development, while also representing our company.

I find it extremely valuable that Concepcio pays special attention to supporting professionals — whether they are interior designers, contractors, or architects. By offering opportunities like this, they help us stay up to date and gain relevant knowledge, which in turn allows us to deliver the highest value to our clients. Yes, it’s definitely a huge advantage to have a place where everything can be found in one location. This is a truly gap-filling solution on the market. Yes, I definitely see opportunities for future collaboration. With the variety of styles and functions our assignments require, having such a comprehensive, high-quality source is a major advantage for working both efficiently and creatively.
